AL team.

Provide engineering design, support, cost
estimates and project schedules for the mill.
Also responsible for providing engineering, technical and process
improvement support to the production operation.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
-Computer aided analysis and design of engineering projects.

-Develop schedules for project installations.

-Assist in the evaluation of capital projects.

-Design internal projects.

-Lead process improvement teams.

-Provide mill management with project updates.

-Oversee Water Technician at Westervelt Lumber Moundville.

-Oversee mill environmental program.

-Makes daily decisions related to project planning and implementation.

-Provides engineering, technical and process improvement support to the production and maintenance staff.

-Supervises internal fabrication projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of project planning and process improvement required
• Designing, planning and coordinating capital projects related to the wood products industry preferred

The
base salary range for this position is $70,800 - $146,600. Actual base salary is based on the experience and
qualifications of the selected candidate.
