POSITION: Inspection Supervisor, Sr (CIISD)

LOCATION: Albany, GA

STATUS: Open/Interviewing

TRAVEL: Less than 10%

CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is seeking a Senior Supervisor to manage the operations and personnel of the ISC in Albany Ga. Primary duties include: Supervise a team of Equipment Technicians in a warehouse laboratory setting to ensure quality control and readiness of equipment through repair, replacement, replenishment and calibration. Applicant should have experience in logistics and repair of equipment and knowledge of CBRND equipment and Fire Fighting equipment is desired.

The ISC was created to provide the Field Service Teams with strategic technical and logistics support for the Marine Corps' Family of Incident Response and Expeditionary Firefighting/Rescue equipment. The ISC maintains the capabilities of warehousing, distribution, spare-parts, repair, and technical expertise to enable the Field Service Teams to better support the operators/owners of the equipment.

In addition to the primary mission, the technicians in the ISC also maintain the capabilities to support all other Field Service Team activities, including fielding and surveillance, sustainment, and training.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):



  • Assist in planning and developing effective support strategies, ensuring the ISC meets established goals for operational effectiveness and readiness
  • Maintain warehouse inventory.
  • Maintain technical training and proficiency.
  • Provide support to Field Service Teams as directed by the FST Branch Head and/or Operations Officer.
  • Ensure assigned personnel perform all functions in accordance with established policy and procedures.
  • Provide draft surveillance reports, trip reports, and associated EARS data from Fielding Service missions, sustainment surveillance site visits, repair job orders and directed screenings to the FST Branch Head via the FST Operations Officer.
  • Submit and track all required requests for the expenditure of funds (e.g., travel requests, transportation requests, and procurement requests) to the FST Branch Head.
  • Ensure all personnel comply with host facility regulations.
  • Ensure the calibration of test and support equipment remains current, scheduled Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) is completed as scheduled, and all equipment remains mission capable.
  • Ensure applicable technical information (i.e., shelf-life extension messages, work instructions, surveillance guides, technical instruction, manuals and orders (TI, TM, TO), supply bulletins (SB), military standards (MIL-SPEC), etc.) is current and on-hand during operations.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained in a professional manner.
  • Ensure technicians maintain certifications as required.
  • Receive and remedy FIRS and EFR Support Requests (SR) from Field Service Teams. SRs will be routed and processed through FST Branch Head.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:



  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of DoD unique systems for equipment sustainment
  • Manage personnel performance



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • High School Degree/GED and a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years relevant experience in Logistics, Maintenance Management, and Supply Chain Management operations
  • Must possess a working knowledge of the DoD supply system.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to stand for prolong periods of time.



TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:




  • Less than 15%
