"I can succeed as a Senior Paralegal (Litigation and Employment) at Capital Group." As a Senior Paralegal, you play a vital role in supporting our litigation and employment law efforts. You will collaborate closely with the legal team, various business areas, and outside counsel throughout all phases of litigation. For litigation matters the legal team handles internally, you will assist with drafting various discovery related documents, such as interrogatory and subpoena responses. Your responsibilities will include maintaining organized case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Key tasks will include utilizing e-discovery tools to manage document collection, review, and production, ensuring compliance with legal holds, and assisting in the preservation of relevant data. You will also manage and respond to regulatory inquiries in partnership with internal legal counsel, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you may conduct background check reviews, summarize findings for legal counsel, identify statutory disqualification issues, and advise on potential implications. You will work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization. To thrive in this role, you should be a self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills, strong attention to detail, and analytical abilities. "I am the person Capital Group is looking for."
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
