Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a broad spectrum of responsibilities and requests having to do with patient care and satisfaction in a out-patient imaging practice, to include but not limited to: meeting/greeting patients, answering multiple phones lines, scheduling patients, calling insurance companies to verify benefits, collecting co-pays and deductibles. Also reschedules patient appointments, enters patient information into MERGE RIS System. Maintains updates and communicates closely with the billing office. Creates a positive impression at all times while contributing to a lasting professional relationship by the warmth of their personalized greeting and their ability to efficiently manage patient reception, registration, and a variety of patient and provider requests. Responsible for displaying knowledge of specific physician related RIS systems and able to multi task in a busy out-patient imaging practice accurately. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
