Construction Planning Analyst

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Utilizing the tools and reports developed by the Technology and Analytics teams, work with all market teams to drive adoption of these new tools to construct networks more effectively. This includes training personnel to use these tools correctly - such training may be completed remotely or in person. Development of training materials and presentations may be required.
• Utilizing the tools and reports developed by the Technology and Analytics teams, work with all market teams to identify opportunities to advance network completion and identify roadblocks and potential solutions that result in improved schedules and/or financial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications construction methodologies, costs and productivity measures and ability to compare and contrast alternative solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous activities effectively. Ability to prioritize standard day to day and ad hoc work efficiently and meet deadlines. Self-started / self-motivated.
• Occasional travel to Metronet project locations/offices to work with market teams, as needed.
• Travel to and from location to aid construction teams in training and adoption of new tools and evaluation of potential new markets
• All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• 5 Years of experience in Telecommunication Construction required.
• Fiber to the Premise Experience required.
• Familiarity of Metronet construction prints and standards preferred.
• Basic skill level in GIS systems and MS Office Suite required.
• Valid driver's license or willingness to travel across state lines required
• Intermediate skill level in GIS systems and MS Office Suite preferred.
