About the Job

The Women's Wellbeing Program (WWBP) at the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is inviting applications for a post-doctoral clinical role.

The post-doctoral associate will provide reproductively-focused mental health treatment in a multidisciplinary team model (e.g., psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, residents, fellows, graduate and post-graduate psychology learners). Patients in the WWBP clinic present with mental health conditions in the context of the perinatal period (pre-pregnancy planning through one year postpartum).

Post-doctoral responsibilities and clinical experiences/training include providing trauma informed evidence-based psychotherapy treatment (e.g., CBT, IPT) to women in consultation and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, as well as outside medical providers and teams as needed (e.g., NICU, maternal fetal medicine, Birth to three early childhood program etc.)

Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. or a Psy.D. by the time of the appointment and be seeking clinical hours for licensure. Candidates must have experience providing clinical services to patients in the perinatal period. Supervision will be provided by licensed psychologists/faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (Co-Directors of the WWBP). The position is for one year with the possibility of an extension up to 2 years.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

*Provide psychological services such as assessment, intervention, consultation
*Provide coordination and collaboration of care with multidisciplinary team, other medical specialty areas and community resources when needed and appropriate
*Give case presentations in multidisciplinary team meetings
*Receive training in providing clinical supervision, and provide clinical supervision to graduate practicum students (under the supervision of a licensed psychologist).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

*Doctoral degree
*Completion of an APA accredited internship
*Experience delivering evidence based psychotherapy interventions and advanced experience providing treatment and assessment of patients with a range of complex presenting concerns in the perinatal period
