District Sales Manager - HOFFMAN

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Develop, implement, and lead a focused sales strategy to attain growth targets within the HOFFMAN sales team across IA, NE, SD, and ND.
  • Lead the promotion, organization, and guidance of sales policies and practices to provide maximum market penetration of products.
  • Define the Go-To-Market strategy considering the mix of rep agencies, distribution along with channel and key account strategy.
  • Lead the sales team, including direct reports and the sales office.
  • Ensure cross-functional partnership with global product category teams, marketing, customer care, pricing, global account, and operation teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Establish regular business review cadence with the team and rep agencies to ensure accuracy in sales forecast and predictability of business results.
  • Provide regularly scheduled updates and forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives to senior management.
  • Maintaining the pulse of the competitive landscape, as well as; that of the customer-base business needs to provide input to develop new products and markets.
YOU HAVE:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent sales leadership experience
  • Ideally 7+ years of outside sales experience in commercial or industrial markets and 3+ years of validated experience leading a sales team
  • Ability to work out of a home office and travel on average 50% of the time across the sales region
  • Experience selling through multiple types of customers, including distributors, integrators/consultants, engineers, and end users/OEMs
  • Knowledge and experience in CRM efficiency tools and approaches (i.e. customer segmentation, territory management, technology tools such as CRM and mobile technologies, sales force time management)
  • Demonstrated skills for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard of excellence. Shows a passion for improving the delivery of services with a dedication to continuous improvement
  • Validated skills to nurture long-term, balanced, value-based relationships with core accounts that elevate revenue opportunities and brand equity
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy both internally and externally in a selling environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan. Consistently demonstrates alignment with organizational strategy to advance opportunities
