Instructors for 2-Week, In-Person, Enrichment Program for Grades 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 in Shanghai and/or Shenzhen, China
CTD & ASDAN-China Summer Collaboration

Summer, one-week, in-person courses offer students the opportunity to engage with like-minded peers on a topic of interest. The program is hosted by ASDAN- China in cooperation with Center for Talent Development to design the academic courses. Although the school sites for 2025 have not been finalized, for summer 2024 the program was held at the Concordia International School - Pudong Campus in Shanghai. Instructors modify and implement challenging and engaging, one-week enrichment courses for students in grades 1 & 2 or 3 & 4. Course content is one to two years above grade level to meet the needs of ASDAN's academically talented student population. Instructors receive support and training but should have experience with and be able to differentiate instruction for high ability students with a range of skill levels and background knowledge. Courses are paced to allow for alternating periods of talking, listening, and hands-on activity, as well as individual work and group work. Up to two bilingual teacher's aides will be provided, depending on class size. Max class size is 20. Instructors will be employed by ASDAN-China for this program.
