OverviewAs part of Microsoft Azure, the Azure Networking team designs and builds the network infrastructure that powers hundreds of thousands of servers in datacenters around the globe, providing network infrastructure services for Azure, Bing, AI, and other Microsoft cloud services. In Azure Networking, we are at the very front of Cloud Computing by running one of the largest data center network infrastructures in the world. Our team is responsible for ensuring the reliability of these networks, even in the face of constant change. We rely on cutting edge network architecture and design for this purpose. As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, by joining this team, you will gain marketable experience in service-oriented network architectures at massive scale.The Team goal is to execute 400Gbps network mitigation to enable Azure Region Growth. ResponsibilitiesCreate design document and metadata for migrationExecute proof of concept and pilot for migrationCreate migration strategy to ensure smooth transition from current design to next generation designAct as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate.Other Embody our culture and values | |
