INTRODUCTION:
Active DoD Secret Clearance is Required
This position will be working in Washington, DC at the Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) building
The core working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
The annual salary is $52,419.00
Pre-employment criminal background checks, government security checks and drug testing are required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervise Melwood staff assigned to Army Corps of Engineers This includes but is not limited to, scheduling and assigning work, completing timesheets, and providing disciplinary actions.
* Open, review, process, screen, sort, log, box, and distribute incoming mail and publications.
* Scan and direct incoming correspondence with minimal errors.
* Perform data entry accurately by entering consumer information requests and updating consumer complaints in the database with minimal errors.
* Develop, maintain, and deliver to ACE COR/COTR the weekly Mail Report which communicates all incoming and outgoing mail aspects.

SUPERVISION EXERCIESED:



  • The Site Supervisor manages all employees assigned to customer location.


SUPERVISION RECEIVED:



  • The Site Supervisor reports to the Project Manager assigned to the customer location.


PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:



  • The incumbent must stand 50% of the work time and sit 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to speak and hear to communicate clearly with workers at the contract site government employees, and COR


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience. Including excellent communication skills and managing personnel.
  • Prior experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Must pass all pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and government security clearance requirements for employment.
