Position Summary

Reports to the site supervisor/ superintendent, ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable day-to-day Fabrication Maintenance job for our clients.. Fabric Maintenance of client assets which could include tasks such as Insulation/Lagging removal and installation, light removal of coatings and application of coatings.

Duties & Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACOUNTABILITIES:

* Installations and removal of cladding

* Installation and removal of lagging

* Light removal of coatings

* Applications of coatings

* Use of Rope Access wherever necessary

Safety

Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to as far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

.* This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationship

* Project Manager

* Rope Access Manager (in direct)

* Client Supervisors and Managers (as required)

Qualifications


  • IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 certification (valid and up to date).
  • A minimum of 500 hours logged in Rope Access work.
  • Expertise in insulation and/or sheet metal work.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal working. (Workshop)
  • Previous work on Oil & Gas live assets, with proven competency in safety protocols.

Advantageous Qualifications:



  • Certified NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) qualifications.

Working Conditions

* This position is considered ONSHORE which is characterized as follows.

* Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night

* Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace

* Work surface is stable (flat)
