Position Title: Hydraulic Maintenance Technician

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Hydraulic Maintenance Technician at a company in Janesville, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Hydraulic Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Diagnose hydraulic system malfunctions using various diagnostic tools and techniques, including electrical/hydraulic problems - Repair and replace hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings - Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life - Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic system leaks and pressure issues - Install and test new hydraulic systems and components - Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities - Assist with hydraulic system design and modification projects as needed Requirements for Hydraulic Maintenance Technician: - Technical or vocational training in hydraulics or a related field - At least three years of experience as a hydraulic mechanic - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and blueprints - Knowledge of hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair techniques - Experience with hydraulic testing equipment and tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Certification in hydraulics or a related field preferred - Experience with hydraulic systems used in manufacturing environments preferred - Knowledge of hydraulic system design and analysis preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
