Altium's mission to dominate the electronic design software industry is in full force, and our hard-driving Mid-Market Sales team is where the most intense action takes place. As part of Mid-Market Sales, you'll be a key player on Altium's championship team of fast-paced, high-volume selling. With our proven sales process and disciplined Stop-at-Nothing execution, Altium has achieved double-digit revenue growth nine out of the last ten years. For high-performers who help drive it even higher, your career potential is nearly unlimited.

This position is located in our Frisco, TX, Sales Hub and is on-site five days a week.

YOU THRIVE ON THE INTENSITY OF HIGH-VOLUME SALES



  • Expanding our subscription base is the key success metric of the Mid-Market Account Manager role
  • The Account Manager will nurture current accounts and devise breakthrough campaigns to achieve and exceed sales targets and drive to the full potential of the market
  • Meet or exceed required daily sales activities through careful planning of personal sales efforts and customer interactions
  • Maintain a 3x transparent pipeline in Salesforce and all Salesforce process requirements
  • Expertly analyze sales data for maximum impact on the sales process
  • Enthusiastically embrace Altium's sales methodologies and processes using our designed systems
  • Powerfully present the Value Proposition for Altium 365, our cloud-based platform to an audience of engineering users, teams, and management, either live or online
  • Master the facts on the Altium product line and technologies to be able to talk about them fluently to technical audiences
  • Keep close tabs on competitive products and new releases. Become an expert on industry trends.


THE AMBITION TO SEIZE BIG CHALLENGES, THE DISCIPLINE TO SEE THEM THROUGH



  • You approach sales targets and all professional goals with a winning mentality and a clear focus on quality and business success
  • A bachelor's degree in business, communications or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably inside, telesales, or business development in software or a related technology with a proven history of exceeding targets
  • You're known for persisting past gatekeepers and can be extremely resourceful in gathering meaningful decision-maker intelligence. You obsess over customer needs and go the extra mile for insight and understanding.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. All communications should be clear, concise, and effective, targeted to meet the information needs of the audience and verified to ensure they've been received and understood
  • Organized, resilient, and tenacious with outreach, and exhibit a hunter's focus on new relationships
  • Resourceful, action-oriented, collaborative - a team player who goes all out to support your teammates
  • You handle ambiguity, change, and every challenge with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
