QPS Employment Group is hiring a Field Safety Coordinator who can reside in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, or Wisconsin 30 minutes from the nearest QPS Branch Office. This position will provide the technical and administrative support necessary to help ensure Risk Program compliance within the branches and help reduce the severity and frequency of workplace accidents and injuries at QPS clients throughout the defined market. This position will also work as a liaison with our Branch Offices. This is a full-time, internal opportunity with QPS Employment Group. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 1st shift, 40 hours a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Makes risk management recommendations to sales and service regarding staffing business
  • Creates and facilitates QPS and Customer Safety programming development and recommendations to support customers.
  • Assign Worker's Compensation codes to customers using the NCCI database or other state specific resources
  • Evaluate branch documentation and risk process compliance, identify areas of improvement and work with the branch to address
  • QPS Internal (including onboarding) and customer staff safety training and auditing
  • Performs customer facility evaluations
  • Collaborate with safety team, corporate department, sales and branch operations and customers to reduce severity of injuries in the field
  • Complete Accident Investigations and provide direction to branch staff in market regarding solutions, orientations, and risk management plans specific to their market
  • Assists in the development program and training materials
  • Any other responsibilities to drive the Safety department's vision and values

What we look for:

  • 3 - 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's in environmental safety and health preferred
  • Leads and directs full time safety consulting initiatives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Provides a high level of customer service
  • Maintains professional confidentiality
  • Upholds integrity in actions
  • Utilizes effective time management
