Job Description

The Safety Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and enforcement of safety protocols and quality assurance processes within the steel manufacturing plant. This role ensures that both the safety of employees and the quality of steel products meet industry standards, regulations, and company objectives. The manager works closely with the production, engineering, and compliance teams to minimize risks, improve safety practices, and maintain high product quality. The role of a Safety Quality Manager in the steel industry is crucial for ensuring that steel products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the highest standards of quality. The manager is not only responsible for the welfare of employees but also for maintaining the integrity of the product, ensuring customer satisfaction, and improving the manufacturing processes. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership, and a deep understanding of safety and quality management systems.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, Quality Management, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in safety management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional - CSP) and quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in safety and quality management, preferably in the steel, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality control systems specific to steel manufacturing processes.
  • Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Strong understanding of steel Fabrication processes, including machining, CNC operation and
  • Proficiency in using safety and quality management software and tools.
  • Ability to train and motivate a diverse workforce on safety and quality practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work under pressure to meet safety and quality goals.
