Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nutrition, the Room Service Manager has managerial responsibility for the Room Service Operations within the Nutrition Services Department. The Room Service Manager is a subject matter-expert with regard to logistics, sanitation oversight, patient experience and satisfaction, general therapeutic diet knowledge, nutrient analysis, and utilization of CBORD (food service software system) in relation to nutrition services. The Room Service Manager identifies opportunities for improvement in the Room Services program with the Assistant Director and management team. The Room Service Manager trains staff on food safety, sanitation, infection control, therapeutic diets, and standards. Role models excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem solving with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Serves as a nutrition services liaison for nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff in relation to patient experience. Position works closely with the Assistant Director, Sous Chef, and Room Service Manager to ensure proper utilization of patient food, supplies, timeliness of meal delivery and accuracy. Performs other related functions as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $63,800 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $30.56 - $53.45 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
