GIS Technician (Part-Time)

Spectra Tech is in need of a GIS Technician (Part-Time) position for our Idaho Falls, ID location.

Position Purpose:

Provide support to the IEC Environmental Restoration GIS Lead in the preparation of

maps and figures for inclusion in reports, plans, and other regulatory deliverables; assist

in the development and maintenance of maps and GIS project data sets, and performing

GIS system maintenance and editing tasks.

This is a Part Time position up to an average of 20hours/week as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience

*Skills and experience with cartographic design

*Understanding of coordinate systems

*Ability to identify problems and work in a team environment to find solutions

*Able to work with established workflows and manage multiple tasks

*Use and knowledge of GPS and field surveying
