Summary
The New York Power Authority is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hydrologic Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for early career individuals with some professional experience in hydrology engineering or related field. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in and learn from various Hydraulics and Hydrology (H&H) related projects and assignments, including but not limited to reservoir inflow forecasting, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, hydrologic time series analysis, and climate change studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the management and optimization of water resources within one of the leading power authorities in the nation while benefiting from ongoing learning and professional development. The estimated salary range for this position is: $89,100.00 - $122,510.00. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
