Job Summary
Assist with coordination, /communication, /scheduling of all lab operations and maintenance of Meta owned equipment. Coordinate with the Lab Operations Manager for maintenance planning, scheduling and vendor/lab operations team communication. Actively monitor all lab tasks/work orders ensuring proper assignment and routine updating/completion.

Job Overview
The Lab Operations Coordinator will provide routine support to lab operations management team and technicians. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: tTask/work order hygiene audits/alterations, ensuring correct access and vendor escorting provisions, support consumables inventory management/ordering, vendor communication, vendor badging and tool/PPE checklist management/ordering.

Job Functions
Support management needs for all lab maintenance and operations in assigned properties
Routinely communicate with vendors/lab operations staff to ensure alignment and avoid issues/misses
Audit tasks/work orders to validate proper hygiene and commentary
Assist with vendor coordination, scheduling and access provisions
Manage vendor badging process
Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with vendors, lab operations team and users
Provide prompt and courteous response to requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL/Meta
Assist in the establishment, implementation, and maintenance set forth by Meta, JLL, and the lab management teams
Adhere to all Meta, JLL, and building property management policies and procedures, perform all duties in a safe manner, and help ensure compliance with city, state and federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulations
Actively participate in required training activities and seminars
Collaborate in the utilization of inventory control programs with appropriate parts/consumables stocking levels with accurate and timely records of receipts and issues
Assist lab operations staff with ordering correct equipment, tools, and PPE as appropriate for assigned tasks
After hours availability for Lab Operations emergencies
Ensure the documentation and electronic file systems are in accordance with the standard practice of Meta
Recognize opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising customer satisfaction and prepare recommendations
Utilize computer equipment to compose routine correspondence, handle high volume of electronic mail, spreadsheets, and report generation with a high level of professionalism
Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Lab Operations Manager in alignment with Meta and JLL operations

Experience Requirements
2+ years in relatable fields
Experience with lab systems, tooling and consumables management (recommended)
Strong initiative, customer service orientated, and ability to function as part of a complex team
Vendor management and administration experience required
Worked within lab and cleanroom environments (recommended)
Experience working within high stress and demanding environments

Job/Skill Requirements
Proper response procedures for emergencies, maintains calm demeanor in emergency situations, and effective communication with cross functional teams
Meets highest attendance and punctuality requirements
Efficient prioritization to meet deadlines and Meta's expectations
Operates laptop, smartphones, and other office equipment
Interact with employees, visitors, and vendors with poise and diplomacy
Apply principles of rational systems and deal with situations where only limited standardization exists
Possess initiative to assume additional responsibilities
Communicate effectively both verbally and written
Possess excellent grammar and proofreading abilities
Ability to function autonomously
Read and understand a variety of instructions (including written, oral, or schedule forms)
Display computer efficiency to adapt to changing requirements within the lab operation programs

Working Environment
Work indoors approximately 90% of the time and outdoors approximately 10% of the time
Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses
Meet the shift working requirements of the assigned property; shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Work overtime and after hours as business needs deem appropriate
Emergency response to limit operational downtime
