What Your Job Will Be Like: We are seeking a R&D S&E, Cybersecurity engineer with experimental experience in side-channel analysis, cybersecurity research or anti-tamper to work as part of a team with other specialists and scientists in a multi-functional lab environment! You will be responsible for: Experimental design for chip-scale analysis; Proposing new direction in investigations; And leading multidisciplinary teams in national level technology assessments. Salary Range: $109,300 - $217,400 *Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential. About Our Team: The Microelectronics Protection Technologies program assesses, designs, and influences national-security related information systems and technologies by developing and applying tools to analyze complex information systems and technologies for vulnerabilities, and developing and transferring solutions to help protect the nation's most critical systems. Its mission is to develop and apply tools to analyze information systems and technologies, with focus on microelectronics and microsystems, including vulnerability assessments and technology protection. Security Clearance: Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
