Research Associate, CGM

The Center for Governance and Markets (CGM) is now accepting applications for a Research Associate for a six-month appointment, ending June 30, 2025. The Research Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing CGM's mission of exploring innovative approaches to collective problem-solving. The Center achieves this mission through groundbreaking research, policy dialogue, and public engagement.

We are seeking a Research Associate from any relevant social science discipline (e.g., economics, political science, sociology, public policy, public administration, anthropology, etc.) who can contribute to our core research areas: governance and political institutions, economic institutions and property rights, and the governance of emerging technologies.

Ideal candidates will have a strong research background in their discipline and the ability to develop research projects aligned with CGM's initiatives. Research Associates are expected to conduct independent research, actively engage in CGM's activities, and connect with policy and local communities where CGM operates.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a relevant social science discipline (e.g., economics, political science, sociology, public policy, etc.).
