Poker Dealer - MGM Springfield

The Poker Room Dealer plays a crucial role in maintaining the game's integrity and ensuring a positive experience for all players. This involves not only dealing cards efficiently but also managing the game flow, enforcing rules fairly, and providing attentive service that enhances the overall atmosphere of the poker room. Effective communication and a friendly demeanor are essential for fostering a welcoming environment for guests.

STARTING PAY: $6.75 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Conduct and assist with operation of poker games
• Get players checks and help maintain poker table banks
• Ensure accuracy of table bank, table pot, and table rake
• Communicate verbally with supervisors of unnatural or irregular play and dispute on the game
• Verbalize player instructions, rules, or any other information as required in the procedures of the game
• Develop customer relations and facilitate the use of the one club card
• Maintains a helpful, courteous, safe, and clean environment of the game
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries
• Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
