The Sr. Telecommunications Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, testing and deployment of telephony infrastructure solutions. The Sr. Engineer will conduct cost and traffic analysis to determine the best use of resources. The Sr. Engineer will have to work actively during the design phase with different internal teams and business groups, analyze the needs of the organization and translate requirements into detailed technical specifications. Collaborates with internal business units and external vendors to ensure all installations meet specifications, ensuring the resolution of problems as they arise. Additionally, the Sr. Engineer works to resolve incidents and handles change management. *Skills* Avaya, Telecom, Telephony, Troubleshooting, Voip, Call center, Telecom engineering, Ivr, Telecommunication, call flows, audiocodes, Installation, CXone, Reporting, Recording, avaya sip *Top Skills Details* Avaya,Telecom,Telephony,Troubleshooting,Voip,Call center,Telecom engineering,Ivr,Telecommunication,call flows,audiocodes,Installation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Designs, configures, tests and maintains telephony infrastructure solutions. *Implements and maintains telecommunication systems and software, such as Avaya Aura platform; SIP Gateways (AudioCodes), Avaya SIP environment, CMS; Nice Recording & WFM systems, Nice Cxone *Partners with Network Services to analyze and resolve IP architecture. *Researches, evaluates, recommends, implements and ensures new technology initiatives are stable and readily maintained. *Own and execute software patches and version upgrade for Telecom infrastructure. *Manages projects within deadlines and provides weekly project status reports to management. *Provides support to a "World-Class" Call Center consisting of many sub call centers with over 2800 call center associates. *Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves complex telecommunication network issues. *Participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation. *Serves as an escalation point for complex voice outages or issues. - 70% day to day tasks, 30% project work - Listening and communication skills are very important as this person will be working with other teams within the business to understand needs Nice to haves: * Nice Reporting/recording solutions * Nice CXone - contact center solution *Strong knowledge of IP telephony and services. *Strong knowledge on Cloud networking concepts (Azure, AWS etc) *Strong knowledge of various telecommunications hardware and applications or services. *Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. *Ability to effectively and efficiently identify, research and resolve a problem. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. *Ability to work effectively under pressure. *Strong customer service skills. *Strong knowledge of MPLS, Net bond (Express Route), private and leased lines, ISDN, analog, T1, PRI, SIP type network solutions. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
