Responsibilities

Without supervision, UHS HTM Senior ISE (Senior Imaging Service Engineer) performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on Medical Imaging devices used in the diagnosis of patients at assigned UHS facilities.

  • Can perform preventive maintenance (PM) or operational verification procedure (OVP) on 95% of the device types in Medical Imaging inventory.
  • Can repair 95% of the device types in Medical Imaging inventory unassisted.

Focuses performance to ensure the safest and best possible patient experience. Delivers exceptional service to all customers that meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance. Assists in developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.

Qualifications

Associate degree, required
CRES certification preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
8 - 10 year experience as a Senior Imaging Services Engineer
Very experienced with healthcare technology management programs. Thorough medical equipment knowledge (manufacturers, models, modalities, device types, capital planning). Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements of medical imaging devices (CMS, TJC, NRC, State, Local).

Strong computer skills (Microsoft products), very experienced with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) products.

Local travel will be required periodically.
