GENERAL SUMMARY: PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 2. *Provides application and technical support services including systems implementation, upgrades, new version roll-outs and optimization, analysis, design, build, configuration, testing and go-live support. 3. *Creates, administers and analyzes security roles, classes and groups assigning security levels as appropriate. 4. *Creates, implements, administers and maintains the interfaces between ERP-related systems and external systems, e.g. Revenue Cycle Systems. 5. *Installs patches as needed. 6. *Creates, administers and analyzes the needs for printer interfaces, printer security and groups as appropriate. 7. Prepares technical reports for security and auditing purposes; collaborates with auditors, IT security staff and IT managers to ensure system security. 8. *Identifies and translates user requests into functional specifications with minimal customization efforts; troubleshoots issues within a highly integrated ERP environment. 9. *Support interdependencies between financial, human resources and materials management modules/systems; designs and configures systems to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of data. 10. *Responds promptly to user questions and provides support, training and intervention actions as needed. 11. *Provides interface support to handheld devices critical for inventory and supply distribution within the Medical Center/Health System. 12. *Writes custom SQL functions to maintain and modify databases; creates, maintains and distributes 300+ reports for administrative and professional use/reference. 13. *Loads Human Resource, Payroll and Benefits records for submission to financial and healthcare institutions for reporting and recordkeeping purposes; supports W2 server administration and maintenance. 14. Analyzes, develops and maintains ERP-related Bryan Health Portal functions. 15. Regularly communicates with super-users any changes, developments or planned updates to the system; provides training and reference website resources as appropriate. 16. Enters restricted access areas, without supervision, to perform assigned work. 17. Performs other related duties as assigned. (Essential Job functions are marked with an asterisk "*"). REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 2. Skill in the use of fourth generation report-writing products, Javascript and SQL applications. 3. Skill in system administration, including security, process flow/work flow and Business Intelligence aspects. 4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 5. Ability to adapt and effectively perform work functions in high stress situations. 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information. 7. Ability to actively participate in meetings and work as a team member. 8. Ability to effectively interact with users having a broad range of computer knowledge and ability. 9.
