Pricing Analyst Summary: Responsibilities will include aligning customer needs with appropriate products, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring timely bid submissions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of tasks ranging from administrative to strategic in nature. Organizational Impact: Your contributions will play an important role in the broader organization, impacting key business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with various teams across the organization to help shape strategies and achieve business goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure timely bid submissions and compliance with contract requirements. Review contract terms and work to address any unfavorable conditions. Assist with product selection to meet bid specifications. Utilize market data to establish pricing in alignment with departmental guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on proposal strategy. Finalize and deliver bid proposals according to required processes. Analyze market data and pricing strategies to maximize business outcomes. Make recommendations for pricing adjustments based on profitability analysis. Manage bid renewals to maintain profitability and contractual terms. Participate in special projects and provide support for ad-hoc requests. Qualifications/Experience Required: 1-3 years of experience in pricing, bidding, analytics, or deal management. Proficiency in handling large data sets, including using tools like Excel for analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. A proactive approach to process improvement and innovation. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Pay Transparency Notice Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
