As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering cloud infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on automation, workflow optimization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role requires deep expertise in cloud systems, security protocols, and identity management, with the ability to automate and streamline infrastructure processes through tools like Terraform and PowerShell. You will play a critical role in architecting, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions, while ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across all client environments.

The role also requires expertise in SAML2, Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Providers (IdP), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) to ensure seamless identity management and security for our clients. Your ability to manage cloud-based infrastructures, coupled with delivering exceptional customer service, is essential. You will work closely with clients-some of whom are high-profile-so professionalism, courtesy, and client-facing skills are vital.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to support and automate client projects, manage 2nd and 3rd level escalation issues, and optimize cloud workflows.
  • Architect, automate, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, leveraging tools like Terraform and PowerShell.
  • Provide technical leadership by designing automated cloud deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and workflow optimizations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on automation, cloud systems, security protocols (SAML2, SSO, IdP), and Privileged Access Management (PAM), guiding 1st level.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to provide technical expertise during client sales and business development processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and identity management, recommending cutting-edge automation and security solutions to propel Siepe's reputation as a leading IT services provider in the financial services industry.

  • 2-3 years of experience with public cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Office 365 (including setup, configuration, design, and support of cloud-based workloads).
  • Proven experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Expertise in SAML2, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Identity Providers (IdP) for secure identity management.
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems to ensure proper control over critical systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced networking skills (layer 3 routing, firewall configuration, network troubleshooting).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory Services, including building and architecting Active Directory domains across multiple sites.
  • Extensive experience managing and supporting customer environments (DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, GPO, NPS, Certificate Authority, Radius Authentication).
  • Strong skills in creating and managing AD users, groups, and group policies independently.
  • Proficiency in Windows file server management, including NTFS permissions, shares, and complex DFS/DFSR setups.
  • Scripting and automation expertise (Terraform, PowerShell, Batch files).
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship.
