Test Equipment Assembly Technician

A Test Equipment Assembly Technician job is currently available at Belcan working at the customer site in East Hartford, CT. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a minimum of an Associate"s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of two years of experience in industry.

Job Duties:
This support will be primarily a support function to the technicians and specialists in the Operations group within Special Test Equipment. Work may include such tasks as: small cable builds, setting configuration switches on computer cards, printing and applying labels, following documented procedures to execute hardware acceptance tests, unboxing off-the-shelf parts, kitting parts, verifying parts kits, handling inventory. Regular status reviews/planning goals with technicians and specialists in the Operations group within Special Test Equipment

Required Qualifications:
* A minimum of an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Due to the nature of the work, a US Person is required
* At least 2 years of similar experience in an Aerospace or related field

Preferred qualifications:
*Experience in a lab and/or manufacturing working environment.
*Previous Special Test Equipment (STE) Engineering Aide experience is desirable

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $52,000-72,800 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
