Overview
The Vermont Agency Of Digital Services is looking for an IT Specialist III. This position assists with resolving more difficult computer hardware and software issues and escalates more complex issues to AHS Department IT Lead as needed. This position will also:
If there are licensed to be managed for the department, this position will assist in identifying licenses and manage them in one location. You'll also work with each Department's IT Coordinators to maintain hardware/software inventory lists, including review of items for removal and participate in the creation and maintenance of software approval and removal processes. This position collaborates with AHS users and IT Coordinators in submitting Ivanti tickets for more complex applications including those developed in-house. IT Specialists assist Departments on transitioning Home Drive files to OneDrive and work with AHS Department IT Leads to migrate files from Share Drive Folders to SharePoint sites and other locations. Assist AHS Departments in review of licensing dashboard and distribution list maintenance. A fingerprint-supported background check may be required based on the assigned job duties and location. Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be expected. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science; OR Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. OR Four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. Total Compensation
