Job Title: Family Medicine Residency Coordinator

Position: #00829997 - Requisition: #35853




Job Summary:



The Family Medicine Residency Coordinator performs duties relating to planning and coordinating academic, operational, and financial activities of the University of Colorado Family Medicine residency program, assists in the development of program educational and administrative goals and objectives, and provides sound guidance and advice on pertinent residency program issues. This position will work in a collaborative, close relationship with the residency faculty, and program assistants. This position will fundamentally contribute to the ongoing development, analysis, and evaluation of existing and proposed educational programs within the residency program.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the admin team with schedule and maintain training certifications for the residents.
  • Oversees distribution and completion rotation evaluations.
  • Coordinates the Milestones and Semiannual review process.
  • Coordinates all required electronic record-keeping and trainee documentation required for the program.
  • Coordinate clinic schedule for family medicine residents.
  • Proactively communicates with rotation partners in the Denver Health and UCHealth system to ensure smooth experience on rotations.
  • Assist with administrative implementation of new policy, procedures, and workflows.
  • Participate in the resident recruitment interviews, resident onboarding, resident graduation, and residency annual reporting with the administrative team.



Work Location:



Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week on campus or Lowry Family Health Center and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year of professional level administrative experience.


A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working in graduate medical education.
  • Expertise with ERAS, NRMP and MedHub.
  • Experience working with students and faculty within a higher education environment.
  • Experience in setting up and arranging all aspects of conferences, meetings, and events.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

Anticipated Pay Range:



The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $48,989 - $62,314.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
