Security Officer - Operation Dispatcher

We are seeking experienced Security Operation Center (SOC) Dispatchers to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our clients and their assets. In this role, you will monitor activity, dispatch security personnel to incidents, and communicate critical information accurately and efficiently. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, excellent judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Starting Pay: $21.90/hour
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Shifts Available: Morning, Evening, and Overnight
• Workdays Available: Monday-Friday, Saturday-Sunday

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A minimum of 5 years of prior security experience is required.
• Previous experience in a SOC or dispatcher role is strongly preferred.

• Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to identify and respond to potential threats.
• Dispatch security personnel to incidents and provide real-time support and instructions.
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for all activities and events.

Allied Universal is hiring a Hospital Security Operation Center (SOC) Dispatcher. The Hospital Security Operation Center Dispatcher will answer telephones and dispatch hospital security personnel accordingly, observe for signs of crime or disorder, monitor video recording devices, and provide information quickly and accurately to the appropriate individuals. The Dispatcher is also responsible for documenting incidents in detailed reports and assisting with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures of staff, members, and visitors at the healthcare facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer telephones, acknowledge alarm signals, monitor video recording devices as assigned throughout the service area and accurately providing pertinent information to the Security SOC Supervisor
• Document incidents (including names, actions, and times) on the "Daily Activity Report"
• Respond to the security needs of their assigned healthcare facility, its agents or contactors and personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• No prior work experience required
