The Business Strategy Internship may be for you! In this full-time position (30-40 hrs/week), you'll have a wide reach across the Business Strategy Team (BST) supporting the day-to-day work of the Pilots team, the Products team, and the Environmental Social Justice team. In collaboration with your supervisor, you'll advance knowledge in emerging technology business opportunities related to high-impact technologies and policies through research and interviews with industry professionals and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Your deliverables will include an evaluation matrix, a report including all findings, and an overall presentation to the BST with findings, which will expose you to high-ranking decision-makers in the department. The work provides an exciting opportunity to influence both current and future Energy Solutions' programs. Throughout the internship, you will also gain insight into projects and departments beyond your own due to BST's inherently collaborative nature. Due to the scope of this role, you may touch on multiple projects. Project opportunities include: Research technology and program/policy to determine opportunities that align with Energy Solutions' capacity and goals Interview Energy Solutions staff, SMEs, and external stakeholders to deep-dive into individual technology types in the energy efficiency space Report out on findings to internal stakeholders and adapt project goals as necessary To enable your success, we are seeking candidates with these qualifications: Basic Microsoft Excel skills Experience gathering, tracking, and sorting data Ability to work independently and collaborate with a variety of teams Data Analysis skill or knowledge of the Energy Efficiency industry a plus Compensation: Undergraduate student: $21/hr Graduate student: $24/hr Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility We live out our mission day in and day out by helping our clients and communities generate clean energy solutions the world needs.
