  • Applies the nursing process to all areas of practice
  • Establishes a patient plan of care; provides patient education related to patients condition, therapeutic regimen and self-care measures; evaluates effectiveness of patient education
  • Provides care according to patient needs; performs specialized nursing care procedures as outlined in department/unit specific competency profiles
  • Provides discharge planning that begins on admission according to patient need; coordinates patient care, admissions, transfers and discharges. Matching nurses with specific skills to patients with specific needs.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
