Job description

Looking for either Level 1 engineer to travel or level 2 to stay at home office.
Level 1 engineer to conduct installations in the field. Travel to Advisor's offices to install voice and video products. 50% travel across the country. Typical installations take 1-5 days.
2 yrs of telecom engineering, Communication Manager, understand basic telecom (circuits), comfort working with carriers and know the lingo
1 yr technical hands on with Cisco Unified Communications Products
Very Strong soft skills, customer service oriented, able to handle high pressure
Onsite Ft Mill when not traveling
Experience with Webex products for training advisors, configuring video equipment.

Or
Level 2 Engineer to stay at Home Office in Ft Mill. Poss SD for right candidate
4 years telecom exp
2 years CUCM
CUCM, Webex apps, cloud calling, hardware exp (cloud register phone config), e-911, e-faxing, arch for video conferencing, scheduled maint, certificate installs.

Unified Communications Engineer I
* Maintain and administer Cisco telephony equipment inclusive of compute nodes, cubes, and circuits.
* Deploy/maintain Cisco voice & video products across the entire portfolio.
* Basic troubleshooting of VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers.
* Perform system integrity and connectivity tests to ensure system availability.
* Monitoring of associated infrastructure health
* Troubleshoot voice communications problems of varying complexity.
* Participate in Tier 1 after hours and on-call support as part of a team rotation.
Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of engineering experience in telecommunications.
* At least 1 years of technical hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications suite of products.
* Basic understanding of networking, including QoS.
* Basic level technical understanding of:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager
o Cisco Unified IM & Presence and Unity
o Cisco UCCX or UCCE
o Video units such as Webex Room Kits and Conference Centers
o Voice Gateways / Routers / Switches
o Cisco CUBE Routers and/or other SBC Solutions
* Flexible hours to accommodate after hours and weekend activities such as installation, testing, managing events.
. Require up to 50% travel
. Inventory Control
. Effectively represent Technology while on site at Advisor offices and Home Office builds
. Manage LOA carrier and port requests and build out profiles for eFaxing
. Other related duties as needed
