Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in nursing PLUS Two (2) years nursing experience as APRN

• Acute Care, Family, or Adult-Gerontology Certification

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas

• APRN/CPN License

• Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates specialized, multidisciplinary care and facilitates consults of patients to assure timely and appropriate treatment.

• Provides comprehensive health assessments, determines diagnoses, implements treatment plans, prescribes medical treatments, and manages health issues for patients in collaboration with the designated physician.

• Collaborates with a variety of health care professionals to diagnose and manage patients' health care problems serving as a resource,interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.

• Manages post procedure immunosuppression and labs of patient in coordination with physician and pharmacist.

• Participates in institutional initiatives and encourages the participation of others. Collaborates in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation using best practices in delivering quality service.

• Edits and documents results in various critical care systems.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
