Job Description: We are looking for a skilled signals software engineer with expertise in signal processing and software design. You will analyze user requirements, design and code new software, and modify existing systems to add features or improve performance. You will develop and implement advanced algorithms, including those for Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and RF systems, while ensuring adherence to system performance standards. Additionally, you will integrate software into diverse environments, debug and optimize existing applications, and provide recommendations for improving development processes and documentation. Proficiency in languages such as C++ and Java, along with a deep understanding of signal processing techniques and digital modulation, is essential. The Level 1 Signals Software Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: The Signals Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances signal processing software (e.g., detectors, demodulators, protocol processors). Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components Qualifications:
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 115,000-170,000 The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
