JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of Education at Penn State is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team of information technology professionals. We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for information technology, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to end-users. This position is in-person at the University Park campus in State College, PA. While infrequent, evening or weekend work may be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
This position requires an High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher plus two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position will require the successful completion of standard background checks. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
