Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Architect - Niche Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 + month contract position. Description: Seeking a Sr. Architect - Niche Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. Responsibilities: Oversee each phase of software application development to ensure a high level of quality, availability and resiliency for each assigned project Identify application and business requirements by communicating with technical teams and clients Keep abreast of and driving new technologies, making recommending towards implementation and exploitation Architect specializations will include App/Integration, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, Platform, Security Understand FinOps strategy and designs AWS solutions with an understanding of the ongoing costs for the solution Design, implement, support and maintain enterprise solutions both on-prem and in AWS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define bounded contexts, develop a universal language, and establish domain-driven patterns to ensure alignment between software solutions and business domains Drive discussions around new and emerging capabilities and help determine the best way to modernize technologies to enable business solutions Synthesize current state processes, operating models, and ways of working to define new, digitally oriented clarity on requirements Work across a diverse stakeholder group, driving consensus, and creating a shared understanding of detailed requirements in conjunction with technical delivery Coordinate multi-system solutions across the enterprise to clarify interdependencies so that systems appear seamless to the customer Requirements: 3+ years of experience working with ITSM processes and the CMDB 7 or more years in a Software Architecture capacity at enterprise scale Experience with the architecture and design of enterprise software solutions, cloud solutions, applications, integrations, security and platform engineering Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions in AWS Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff Software Engineers and developers with best practices and leadership Experience defining and maintaining accountability to Architectural Design Patterns and serving as a technology domain's escalation point Highly proficient with leading Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, practices and tools in an enterprise technology environment Expertise in Application Security principles and 12-factor application development principles is required Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles Desired skills: Solutions Architect Software Development Engineer Systems Administrator ServiceNow developer or engineer experience If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
