Specialist - E&C Project Compliance

Summary: The Specialist-E&C Project Compliance reports to the Sr. Manager of E&C Project Compliance. The Specialist works with Engineering and Construction Engineers, Project Managers, and other support staff to provide regulatory guidance and ensure E&C project compliance. The Specialist will make sure project documentation is traceable, verifiable, complete and in accordance with the Company's Engineering Standards and applicable State and Federal rules and regulations. The Specialist will assist in training E&C Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Office Managers on the use of Project PULSE and other corporate databases. The Specialist will also perform quality audits during construction to verify the required technical and engineering records are properly collected and uploaded to the Construction Document Management System in accordance with the Company Engineering Standards and represent the department during external agency audits. Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 1. Must be able to travel up to 70%, overnight travel required. 2. Driving, walking, and standing frequently, sometimes in excavations and uneven terrain 3. Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting 4. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment 5. Must be able to work effectively away from traditional office environment (hotel, airports, roadside parks etc.) |
