DIVISION:

U.S. Energy POSITION SUMMARYAs a Terminal Technician with U.S. Oil, you will perform maintenance and upkeep for Terminal grounds, buildings and equipment; offload and load rail and barge petroleum products; receive, track and invoice inventory and other paperwork, assist drivers with loading procedures and will work on dock and rail operations along other project work as needed. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating on-call schedule. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offload and load rail and barge petroleum products
  • Perform or assist drivers with loading and unloading trucks and trailers
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping of grounds, buildings and equipment
  • Receive, track and invoice inventory
  • Maintain product quality in accordance with our internal Quality Assurance Program.
  • May weld or fabricate metals
  • Follow safety and environmental procedures
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Must be able to work on-call shifts (rotational)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver policy requirements
  • Must be 19 years or older if required to drive our company fleet vehicles
  • Maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Maintain all Coast Guard certifications (PIC,FPSD, TWIC card) if working at applicable terminals
  • Maintain all DOT, OSHA, and all other required certifications pertaining to terminal operations
  • Perform terminal inspections on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual frequency
  • Maintain inspection records utilizing N-Compass software
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Construction, electrical, welding, terminal or related background helpful
  • High scanning accuracy
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally push, pull or roll objects up to 350 lbs.
  • Able to work up to heights of 65 feet when required
  • Able to operate forklift and power tools
  • Able to tolerate, at times, the smell of gas and paint
  • Able to work overtime and weekends without much notice, travel overnight, and be on-call
  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills
