Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Cover batch, business, incident, and problem Support Batch and business queries for Global Markets Risk Manage user query mailbox effectively, understand the scope of team's work and ensure timely and appropriate response is provided for all user queries Utilize important framework tools such as ITSM, JIRA, ITRS, etc. for both making updates and producing reports Provide timely and accurate user notifications as well as management escalations when needed Document and knowledge management Follow up and coordinate resolutions with various development teams Assist with metrics reporting Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing and related paperwork Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution Respond to and resolve feed and batch support items, Manage alerts and monitoring Requirements: 5+ years of Production Support experience demonstrated track record in application production support of financial applications in a global environment strong foundation in operational excellence with a track record driving improvements like automation process improvements Strong SQL Knowledge Strong UNIX / LINUX knowledge Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Working knowledge of ITIL Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent project and time management skills Able to work in a multi-regional team Financial industry experience Knowledge of Market Risk Python Agile methodology Monitoring packages - ITRS, Splunk, Dynatrace Pay Range: $61.60 - $69.60 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
