Primary Duties: Perform electrical maintenance on facility and all plant production/support equipment. Perform mechanical maintenance on Plant HVAC equipment. Functional knowledge of all equipment controls, safety circuits, and electrical operations. Troubleshoot and diagnose machine or equipment electrical issues and repair as needed. Run conduit and wire equipment.

Tools Required: Hand and power tools, all shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, band saw, pipe threader, welder, etc.), Company issued lock out/tag out, OSHA approved air nozzle for compressed air, respirator, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, test meter, all mobile equipment (including the company truck when necessary), and ear plugs.

Materials Used: Lubricants, chemicals, filter media, wire, metals, wood, plastic, glass.

Supervision Exercised: None; receives instructions from Engineering Services Leader.

Job Procedures:

1. Follow all established Plant and Job Specific Safety rules.
2. Must be certified in Powered Industrial Trucks training.
3. Responsible for general electrical maintenance including, but not limited to facility electrical and production equipment electrical maintenance.
4. Responsible for operation of various shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, welders, cutting torch, pipe threader, and various saws.
5. Functional knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting required, as well as safe work practices.
6. Experience in A/C and D/C controls and motors required.
7. Program and troubleshoot drives and PLCs.
8. Verify and record temperature and relative humidity readings at all stations throughout the plant at assigned intervals.
9. Make adjustments to controls, supply grills, ducts, valves, and other equipment to maintain specified temperature and relative humidity requirements.
10. Maintain, change and/or clean filter media in the filter houses and air washers.
11. Check functional operation of all assigned equipment at assigned intervals.
12. Check and maintain water treatment chemicals (if assigned).
13. Change or adjust fan belts as needed to maintain proper operation of fan units.
14. Clean air conditioning and cooling equipment.
15. Maintain, change, and/or repair pumps and motors as needed.
16. Maintain housekeeping and organization of materials in the assigned work area.
17. Work on special projects as requested by management.
18. Advise management of any items that need to be ordered to maintain or repair Plant equipment.
19. Perform all other duties as directed by management.
20. Provide direction and training to CET's

Minimum Job Requirements: Must have previous electrical maintenance experience, preferably textile related, including greige manufacturing. Must be able to read and write and have good communication skills. Basic math and computer skills required. Must be able to lift and move loads up to 50 pounds. Job requires frequent climbing of steps/ladders, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling. Must be able to read controls diagrams. Competency testing may be required. Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision.

Follow all Safety Rules, and comply with the Job Safety & Health Analysis (JSHA). All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required. Any accident or near miss must be reported immediately.
