Simmons Bank Commercial Banker Internship

Location: Tulsa, OK
Internship Duration: Summer 2025 ; May 28th - August 1st, 2025

Simmons Bank is offering an exciting internship with the Commercial Banking team in Tulsa, OK. This position provides current college students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial banking and customer relationship, while being mentored by an experienced Commercial Banker. This internship will primarily be located in Tulsa, but will also support the Stillwater and Oklahoma City teams. There will be occasional travel between markets.

• Work closely with the Commercial Bankers on various projects and customer-related tasks.
• Assist with commercial banking processes, reporting, and data entry.
• Participate in a team project that will benefit the Tulsa/Stillwater/OKC market moving forward.
• Contribute to a variety of team opportunities, including branding and sales.
• Attend weekly banker sales calls.
• Shadow the retail banking team to gain a working knowledge of banking fundamentals.
• Participate in professional development activities, including industry meetings and networking opportunities.

• Pursuing a degree in business or a related field, with at least sophomore standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, project management, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, and a team-oriented mindset.
