Loan Servicing Specialist

Job Summary and Scope of Responsibility: Prepare and process loan related servicing tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: With or without reasonable accommodation must be able to perform all essential job functions as described below.

• Post and process payments, advances and payoffs.
• Perform daily balancing of general ledger accounts.
• Review daily reports and process non-posts, transaction exceptions and interest collected/not earned.
• Scan insurance certificates to be uploaded.
• Assign loan numbers, as requested.
• Perform UCC searches and forward to the account officer.
• Perform file maintenance (unrelated to borrower terms).
• Perform verification of mortgage requests.

Minimum Qualifications to Perform Essential Functions:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Aptitude for detail and organization.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.)
• Professional and service-oriented demeanor and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including internet browsers and Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability to perform essential job functions under general supervision.
• Proficiency at speaking, reading and writing English.

Experience and/or Education:

• One year of related experience.
• One year of direct experience with demonstrated proficiency at boarding consumer loans and unsecured commercial loan, preferred.
• Experience preparing loan documentation, preferred.
