Are you ready to take the next step in your coding career? Staffmark has a fantastic opportunity for a Coding Supervisor at a well-established teaching hospital in Colton, CA.

Pay: $30.45 per hour

Shift: 1st shift

Responsibilities:



  • Supervise and manage the coding team, ensuring accurate and timely coding of medical records
  • Review and verify the coding of medical records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on coding procedures, standards, and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
  • Perform audits of coding accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure proper documentation and coding
  • Stay up-to-date with coding changes, regulations, and best practices




Requirements: (Must have one of the following credentials.)



  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Two years of full-time comprehensive coding experience in an acute care hospital within the last five years
  • Two years of full-time auditing and processing medical records in an acute care hospital or outpatient clinic setting within the last five years
  • Lead/Supervisory experience in an acute care hospital is highly desired
  • Must provide own equipment
