Description

Position: Credit Risk Analyst

Physical Location: 2778 West Jackson Street, Building C, Tupelo MS 38803

Reports To: Credit Risk Review Manager

Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions

Job Group Category: Exempt

Primary Purpose:

Review and approve CRE and C&I loan renewals, provide HVCRE qualification determination on new CAD loans and administration of the Rated Asset process. Specialists must have a broad understanding of commercial banking, financial statement analysis, loan underwriting, loan documentation and loan ratings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Review and approval of renewing CRE and C&I loans based on thresholds determined by management
  • Review CAD loans based on thresholds to determine HVCRE qualifications
  • Administration of the Rated Asset Meeting process
  • Assist Credit Risk Review Manager as needed



Job Specifications:



  • Business, Banking, or Accounting Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five years of commercial banking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business cash flows
  • Proficient knowledge and current use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Google
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Team player
  • Proficient with bank's core system and Nettrax
  • Preferred experience in Credit Analysis, Comm. Loan Underwriting, Loan Review or Lending Assistant
