Your Role With Us: As the Assistant Nurse Manager at Salem Health you will provide oversight for patient care and nursing services for the assigned unit to include promotion of quality evidence-based care and patient satisfaction in a fiscally responsive manger. Located on the fifth floor of Building B, our Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU) is a 46 bed telemetry capable unit dedicated to the care of patients who present to the emergency room and need to be observed for 18 - 48 hours, where clinical decisions can be determined as to the need for inpatient admission or discharge if improvement occurs in acute illness. The range of patient ailments are quite diverse and can include electrolyte imbalance, chest pain, transient ischemia, and infection. Bachelors of Arts in Nursing is acceptable and will consider non-nursing Bachelor's Degree with a MSN.Two (2) years minimum of acute care RN experience is required.Charge RN experience is desirableCurrent BLS issued is required.Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required or eligible for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
