The Opportunity:

The Staff Attorney provides legal counsel and oversees all legal matters for LG Electronics Alabama Inc. (referred to as the 'Company'), including contracts and agreements, legal claims, compliance and risk management, financial affairs, property protection, employment-related issues, visa and immigration matters, and any additional assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities:



  • Negotiate and review all contracts and agreements between the Company and third-party vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage legal claims, including product service and warranty-related customer disputes and other business-related claims.
  • Oversee the Company's compliance and risk management responsibilities.
  • Provide legal counsel and collaborate with Human Resources on employment-related disputes, including EEOC and OSHA matters, as well as visa and immigration cases for foreign employees.
  • Review and advise on all legal forms submitted on behalf of the Company, ensuring the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Handle and review all other assigned legal matters.


Qualifications / Education / Experience:



  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in Alabama are required.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent legal research abilities, are essential.

$85,000 - $95,000 USD
