2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am

Minimum Job Requirements


  • Physical- Time split between walking, standing, and sedentary work. Must be capable of lifting 30lbs safely with or without assistance.
  • Working Hours- Fulltime (40+hrs/week) employment.
  • Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Understand the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
  • Follow and execute AS9100 Quality system procedures including, instructions on job travelers control plan, and per AS9100 procedures.
  • Possess an understanding of the customer's aesthetic requirements and apply these requirements in the visual inspection process.
  • Conduct mechanical inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished components, as required.
  • Review certificates of conformance for supplied material and create the same for Latitude products.
  • Complete inspection reports in accordance with organization, customer, and regulatory requirement.
  • Conduct production audits for the quality department.
  • Operate CMM with assistance.
  • Complete tasks independently as instructed by Quality Manager, Supervisor, or Team lead.
  • Work safely to ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments.
  • Maintain neat and clean work area.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to complete mechanical inspection of parts using basic measuring tools
  • Ability to complete visual inspection of parts with high attention to detail
  • Ability to complete timely and accurate inspection reports for review outside the organization
  • Good organization skills and ability to multi-task and trouble shoot
  • Good computer skills, including knowledgeable in Office Suite of Microsoft - Word and Excel
  • Possess good math, writing, reading and communication skills

Education and Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in similar function
