Job Title: Paralegal - Contract Administration

Employment Type: Direct Hire


Position Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our Contracts Administration department. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge in contract review, and administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in contract lifecycle management, ensuring timely execution, renewals, and compliance tracking.
  • Conduct legal research and provide summaries on contractual terms, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as procurement, finance, and sales to ensure contract terms align with business objectives.
  • Maintain an organized contract database and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Support attorneys with due diligence, contract amendments, and other corporate legal matters as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance changes that may impact contracts and advise stakeholders accordingly.
  • Assist with dispute resolution and contract-related issues as they arise.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
    • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
